With his installations, videos, performances, drawings and models, Stéphane Gilot tries to redefine our relationship with space by using hybrid construtions and imaginary spaces in which the public is invited to take part in an inventory of situations.

Stéphane Gilot's works have been exposed in Canada, Europe and Latin America. He presented his work at the Model Arts and Niland Gallery (Sligo, Ireland, 2009), at the Triennale québécoise du Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal (2008), at the Galerie F. Desimpel (Brussels, 2007), at the Transmédiale de Berlin, at Galerie Oboro (2006) and Paul Petro Contemporary Art (Toronto, 2005).
