Isabelle Guimond
Artist in residency
During the summer period, Galerie B-312 is pleased to offer its space to an artist in the context of a free residency. Covering an area of 2 000 square feet, the gallery can be invested in different ways. Above all, it is about giving the opportunity to artists to work on site, turning the gallery space into an artist studio. Isabelle Guimond is the second artist to benefit from this summer residency.
Isabelle Guimond is a visual artist based in Montréal. Through painting she questions her relationship to images and to the world. Her work oscillates between a social critique of our way of life and a representation of intimate stories. In this residency, she will focus on adolescence and identity. She will explore how the body is represented and shared on social networks.
