Martine H. Crispo is a sound artist. She also creates music for theater and dance and she has a beautiful voice on the radio. One says of her a lot of good. It is also said that she adds to her digital weaving sounds of modified electronic circuits of old educational toys for children. At Galerie B-312, she will offer us a piece created from scratch with six very portable computers, one from 1986, one from 1987, two from 1992, one from 1996 and one from 2005.

Chantale Laplante has a unique musical background combining instrumental composition and improvisation with computer. After a training in classical piano and jazz and after performing as keyboardist in pop and experimental music groups, she invests herself in instrumental and electroacoustic composition. She is interested in the act of composing and improvising in "hyper-listening" mode, where she explores the possibility of abandonment and the mediation of a sound-space without beginning or end. Her works are presented in festivals, recitals and on radio in North America and Europe, where she regularly gives concerts and lectures. At Galerie B-312, she will offer us an improvisation made of a long fade-chained veiled sounds in a piano register - pianissimo. The sounds appear and disappear, like an elusive sensation.
