RESERVED FOR SENIORS! Are you over 50? Are you curious and interested in images and spatial perceptions of the environment that surrounds us? Would you like to better understand art-that-is-being-made-today-and-now? In collaboration with Action Centre-Ville, a community organization for seniors, Galerie B-312 is pleased to offer an opportunity to introduce you to a variety of artistic practices.

FAIRE - VOIR - EXPLORER To discover your own way of creating and doing. To interact with an artist in their studio. To visit exhibitions and demystify creation. It offers a privileged access to art, an incredible chance to appreciate and be inspired by it.

THE ARTIST: Andréanne Godin
Her Medium: Photography, drawing and installation. Explorations of notions of space representation (physical and perceptual) through photography, drawing and installation.

In collaboration with Galerie B-312, the multidisciplinary artist Andréanne Godin invites you to live a memorable artistic experience where the living space and the emotions that emerge from it will serve as raw material for artistic creations. You will be led to explore the range of artistic practices of the artist who offers you to take a more sensitive look at the places surrounding you and to revisit the ones that have marked you in some way. She will also lead you to think about representation strategies and ways of placing drawings and photographs in the space, channeling and suggesting impressions and emotions related to personal and collective memory. Combining several mediums, this workshop will allow you to explore new facets of contemporary art through your experience. In addition to hands-on workshops, a visit to Gallery B-312 and an introduction to the artist's work will be on the agenda. At the very end of the workshops, a public presentation is planned at Galerie B-312.

When: Tuesdays starting September 18, 2018
Time: 1 :15 to 3 :50 pm Duration: Until December 4, 2018
