In response to an invitation from Galerie B-312 to celebrate its 30th anniversary, this exhibition brings together Maxime Bruneau and zipertatou, who developed a collaborative project with artist's children. The children were involved in the entire process of creating an artistic video: the puppets were designed from their drawings; the sets were created in response to their ideas; they performed during the filming and composed the music and songs.

While photography is the essence of Alexis Gros-Louis' practice, he combines photographic techniques with a variety of media. These combinations, considered paratextual, aim to examine the substance of images as well as the histories and exchanges between objects, space and viewer. Alexis Gros-Louis highlights the complex relationships between the photographed objects, the space in which they are situated, and the viewer who interacts with the work. The artist is interested in notions of identity and belonging, and the normative systems of dominant cultures.

Victor Arroyo works at the intersections of cinema and contemporary art. His films are inspired by various modes of listening and seeing, the result of long periods of observation, documentation and archiving. The Disappearance in Three Acts project is a video trilogy that examines the political and social complexities of contemporary Mexico. Each act of the trilogy is an exploration of trauma and marginalized histories. At Galerie B-312, he presents Act 1, Act of Mourning.

With Ephemerides, Danielle Cormier offers a series of sculptures which are displayed in the large room of Galerie B-312. Interested in the fluidity of plaster, the artist examines the process of transformation of the material. Through imprinting and molding processes, she creates objects which, placed on the ground, become space determinants. The producing process, from its liquid substance at the beginning to the solid and frozen substance at the end, informs and induces the final object.

Starting from relational experiences developed during the creation of paintings custom-designed for individuals and their homes, the artists Pépite & Josèphe investigate, through various processes of capture and recomposition, the domestic spaces where the paintings were installed. With Les galeries-logis, the notions of refuge and exhibition space are revisited. The artists combine paintings, digital art and architectural creations in the large room of the gallery, while sculptures and sound art respond to each other in the small room.

In an attitude of intuitive discovery, Manon De Pauw is particularly attentive to what emerges under the camera's gaze. The manifest presence of the body in the work, the link between micro and macro, and light as a source of affect are at the heart of her approach. In addition to her photography and video work, she regularly collaborates with artists in dance, theater, literature, media arts and music, developing a singular approach to the performed image.

"Danseprophétiqueàl'îlebizarre is our very own Noah's Ark, signed March 23, 2024. A place to gather in case of emergency. A rich and fertile sculpture. Outside the center. A rendezvous, a movement, a vision of what we want. Of how we want to die or not. Above all, not tense. Like a cry of joy, let's start again."

Mimetic and metamorphosis are at the heart of Michèle Pearson Clarke's preoccupations, particularly in her most recent project, Quantum Choir. This four-channel video installation presented on screens is rooted in singing, a common activity in all cultures, both ordinary and extraordinary. More specifically, it focuses on the idea of a poor  voice performer learning to sing, bathed in insecurity, doubt and shame.

Gary LaPointe Jr.'s drawings and sculptures combine with Clay Mahn's paintings question the value, construction and transformation of the frame as form and conceptual foundation.

Since August 2020, Sara A.Tremblay has been sharing videos and photographs on Instagram as part of a project named Tout t’empêche. Still in progress, it was born from a reflection on the pressure to create and on the fact that her refuge, the countryside, has now become her main residence.

The Crystal Gazers project consists of a series of digital collages printed on decommissioned LCD screens. It was during a residency that Mathieu Grenier began this work, discovering the enormous quantity of used screens regularly accumulated in front of a television repair store in Brooklyn, end-of-life objects waiting to be shipped internationally, in order to be "recycled".

The year 2022 is almost over. But just before it does, we invite you to our benefit exhibition Pour l'art | Spécial 30 ans. A special edition for which artists have been invited to present a work that corresponds more or less to the year in which they exhibited or participated in one of Galerie B-312's activities. In other words, Galerie B-312's two galleries will feature works from 30 years of artistic practice. The focus is on creative work. A unifying, inclusive and festive event.

L’index is a theoretically endless project, which consists of capturing the entire spectrum of visible colors in photography. To do this, Martin Désilets uses multiple ways to isolate the color-light.

In her new exhibition, Marie-Eve Beaulieu revisits 15 years of her career by recovering old paintings and sketches, from which she cuts the canvas into tiny squares, which she then weaves. The initial questioning of Et si on recommençait ? (What if we started again?) is ethical and questions the gestures of the artist who collects materials and produces works that accumulate over the years.

This exhibition is organized by zipertatou, accompanied by Maxime Bruneau whom he invited to lead a collaborative project with a group of children, of which at least one parent is an artist, directly involved in the conceptualization of the content of the exhibition.

The exhibition Servez à ce monsieur une bière et des kiwis, that its aim is to give the impression that the works are dancing, sipping a drink or welcoming guests, uses the theme of a festive event.
