Taking from medical terminology and imagery, using some of their equipment and crossing with them the more or less esoteric statements of chromopathy, Caroline Boileau leads us to consider a fiction where the body is told to us from different points of view. In addition to these fragments of scientific and pseudo-scientific discourse, the word is also given to individuals who tell us about the body, their own, and what they have to tell us counterbalances the clinical discourse.
This means that language plays an important role in this work. However, the choice of spatial layout, the work of transforming objects, digital and video images, are also called upon to play a leading role in this exhibition. The motifs and images draw on different registries, among others, the living organism is treated by figures of growth and development that the artist will shape during the exhibition period. Caroline Boileau's multidisciplinary work explores several paths, but all of them lead us back to the figure of the body and its relationship with knowledge, as a source of power.
