The migration of peoples is a recurring phenomenon in the history of humanity, whether by choice, by obligation, by necessity. What defines our territory? How does cultural heritage and identity affect who we are?

As part of the Breathing exhibition, Galerie B-312 invites you to a discussion panel with the curator Yan Zhou and artists Alexandre David, Mireille Lavoie and Yam Lau. 

In partnership with Tour de Bras, Galerie B-312 is pleased to host the Baie Vitrée event, a sporadic series of improvised music and sound art programmed by musicians Philippe Lauzier and Éric Normand.

eXcentrer's curators Marthe Carrier, Stéphanie Chabot, Emmanuelle Choquette and Émilie Granjon, directors of Galerie B-312, Skol, Arprim and Circa invite you to this singular event which takes place from September 2019 to May 2020 at the Galerie d'art Desjardins de Drummondville.

As part of La Track | The Track project, four Montreal artists and two art collectives will be at Pigment Sauvage for in situ and off-site residencies, culminating in two group exhibitions at the Institute of Contemporary Art Baltimore in November 2019 and at Galerie B-312 in February 2020. 

We invite you to come and take a look at our last workshop with the members of Action Centre-Ville. This season, it is Guillaume Boudrias-Plouffe’s turn to invite a dozen of participants to explore contemporary art through assemblage of objects and performance.

They are six. All in their twenties and thirties. They studied arts at Concordia University and UQAM. They chose painting. The exhibition Six peintres, deux écoles, trois lieux, une rencontre, presented in 2014 at Galerie B-312 and in two other Montréal art centres.

Galerie B-312 is pleased to invite you to the double launch of Téléportation and Renée Lavaillante, une archéologie du dessin, respectively edited by Galerie B-312 and Occurence and Sagamie centres. 

For several months, the Quebec artist Guillaume La Brie and the Japanese artist Satoru Tamura have been collaborating via the internet so that each can create the work of the other. Téléportation is a remote creation experience between two sculptors. 

Academics, artists and members of Hexagram | CIAM participating in this two-part international seminar will question the forces of transformation occurring at the limits of matter, be they physical, residual, biological or electronic. 

Marie-France Tremblay's exhibition presents a collection of recent artworks produced by different techniques such screen printing and knitting. Hundreds of characters and objetcts rub shoulders like repeated little nightmares. 

As part the of the Géodésie exhibition, Carolline Bernand reads with six different voices for her performance Six semaines de parallèles confondues Trente allers-retours entre ici et le centre de radiothérapie.

This looping projection goes from scenes to scnes to engage in a serie of indefinable but familiar sensory experiences. The images and sound collected over the years are the result of luck, the propable or the spontaneous.
